The “Let’s Draw” videos will guide you through simplistic drawings to help you understand structures and functions. You should be able to draw out the structure, describe the function, then apply what you know to models that can be utilized in a lab setting.

The “Let’s Apply” videos will guide you through applying your knowledge of structures to identify structures on a model utilized in a lab setting. Regardless of the exact model used in the lab setting, you should be able to distinguish between structures on any model given based on the intricate design of each structure. Keep in mind that structure determines function; therefore also knowing the function of each structure will help you to apply knowledge in a variety of settings.

The “Let’s Practice” section will allow you to test your knowledge of structures  on a model that could be utilized in a lab setting. After utilizing this practice, try identifying the structures on multiple models within your lab setting or using images from the internet.
