This textbook has been adapted from https://louis.pressbooks.pub/humananatomyandphysiology1,  the OER textbook developed by a cohort of faculty members through Connecting the Pipeline: Libraries, OER, and Dual Enrollment from Secondary to Postsecondary, a $1.3 million project funded by LOUIS: The Louisiana Library Network and the Institute of Library and Museum Services.

 

About the Authors

Lilah Tauzin Landry

Lilah has been an educator for over a decade, beginning her career in secondary science education before transitioning to higher education in 2020. She now specializes in teaching Human Anatomy & Physiology, while also instructing courses in Basic Biology and Neuroscience.

With academic foundations in both Psychology and Science Education, Lilah brings a holistic and student-centered approach to the classroom. She supports the academic success of nearly 400 students each semester, prioritizing interactive, engaging instruction. Her courses integrate Open Educational Resources (OER), ensuring accessibility while fostering active learning.

Lilah is passionate about empowering students to excel academically and reach their educational and professional goals. Her commitment to inclusive, dynamic teaching continues to shape a meaningful and impactful learning experience.
